Found this one ok. I think it could have been a good plot even with some of the twists in it, but for some reason I just didn't connect with it like I thought I would. The characters just didn't connect with me for some reason. I felt like the author needed to go deeper to develop the characters.

Interesting family drama set mostly on a European cruise. I think I enjoyed this most as I'd taken a similar cruise a couple of years ago. Everyone in the family is a mess, so your life will seem pretty good in comparison. The mother of the adult children was the worst of the bunch, I wasn't very sympathetic to her attitude and prejudices. Great narrator pushes it up a star.

Do not be fooled by the cover. This is NOT a light hearted beach read. "The Jetsetters" is full of heavy content and lots of baggage (pun intended).

Charlotte and her three grown-up children all have secrets and demons to face, which they're forced to reveal on a family European cruise, which begs the
question; can a forced family vacay lead to reconciliation or will their relationships remain estranged?

Side note and HUGE pet peeve: There's a lot of dialogue but for some reason the author could come up with one word when writing conversations: SAID. It drove me nuts! How about throw in an exclaimed or remarked or observed or uttered or whispered or babbled or barked or offered or....
