I finally got around to reading these and they do not disappoint! The book was so interesting, it was hard to put down. All the characters have so much depth and charm, it was a really fun but also sad read T-T 💕 Ruee…

Pubblicato nel 2008, a più di dieci anni dall'uscita, rimane un libro fenomenale.
Crudo, feroce e diretto, con scene rese ancora più strazianti dal contrasto tra il bisogno di sopravvivere e il rifiuto di essere ridotti a merce, la storia va avanti a benzina e colpi di scena, immergendo il lettore in uno squallore che da assuefazione. Lo stile è asciutto e privo di fronzoli, ma ciò amplifica la potenza del libro a dismisura. Riletto da adulto ti lascia addosso un certo effetto, molto sgradevole, che da adolescente non avevo provato.
