This was really entertaining and written in a very cool style, with a lot of characters and timelines. I'm not sure if they all got an equally clear ending,

and I wish the rich received a worse fate

. But definitely a gripping mystery!

Ik zat echt in het verhaal. Het leest lekker weg en blijft interessant. De setting op het landgoed is je makkelijk voor te stellen. Leuk dat je vanuit verschillende perspectieven leest.

I’m not shouting from the roof top that everyone should read this book but I was throughly entertained.

I was hooked 50% in, but the beginning felt jumbled and disorganized and hard to follow with the constant jump between times and unfamiliar characters. I enjoyed the reading after about the 50% mark but I hate the ending. It could have gone so many different ways and yet it was of course the most devastating fucking conclusion they could’ve come to. I cried my eyes out.

there were A LOT of moving parts in this story and i really appreciated how present that made me feel. with all the timelines and POVs i really had to think and remember who was doing what in their previous chapters. and if too much time went by the authors first line returning to that character was a one sentence recap, reminding you where they left out & that was so appreciated!

i didn’t much care about anyone in particular but i was really invested in the mystery of it all and some of the reveals i openly gasped at.

i will absolutely be picking up more works from this author
