I love learning more about this world. Such a sad story, but such a great primer before the release of the second book!
El principio fue hermoso. No me gustó nada la relación entre el rey y Robert, pero eso no quita el cariño que le tuve a Robert. Aunque se me hizo algo extraña la situación con todo eso de que la reina Anabelle era la mejor amiga del príncipe consorte de su esposo. (Nota Post-King’s Cage: y después de ver la relación tan enferma entre Evangeline y la esposa de su hermano, creo que me he dado cuenta de que Victoria está un poco loca y mete muchas relaciones aberrantes) Su muerte fue directo en los feelings, y como nunca se comporto irrespetuoso ni nada me encariñe mucho más.

Si antes de leer esto odiaba a Elara, ahora deseó arrancarle la cabeza más que nunca. Si pensaba que Maven era malo, ahora veo de donde lo saco. ¡Elara Merandus es una víbora! Desde qué era una niña fue tan... Agh. Coriane no se merecía eso, todo por una corona. Aghhhhh. Sospechaba que Elara tuvo algo que ver con la muerte de la madre de Cal así como tuvo algo que ver con la muerte de su padre, pero esto... La de Tiberias VI fue cruel, y en ese instante odie a Maven, pero la de Coriane... Todo lo que hizo esa víbora para enloquecerla... No tienen idea de como anhelo el momento en que Elara quede reducida a cenizas. Cal desde ahora es mi favorito y no se merecía que sus padres murieran sólo para satisfacer las ansias de poder de esa manipuladora y psicótica bruja. ¡¡¡MÁTALA VICTORIA AVEYARD!!!

I really enjoyed Queen Song. The events of the story flowed well and whilst short, it brings up a lot of strong emotions for the reader. I gained a lot from learning about Coriane Jacos; hearing her story puts a lot of things into perspective. I would definitely recommend this novella for fans of the series as it really does provide a good, and emotive background and history to the events and characters within Red Queen. read full review

I really liked reading about Coriane, and loved how she and Tibe got married because they were in love, instead of the queenstrials.
I do wish it was a bit longer though. I would have love to read more about their love, their wedding, and even some more about her depression, because I found her death was a little too soon in the book.
