4.5!! MY HEART!! I loved this! It was such a beautiful story, about a director and actor in Hollywood<3 I loved them both as characters, and I love the setting, plot, the depth, and overall vibes! It wasn’t only a beautiful story but also a love story to art, music, black artists, black history, film and family! The message hit hard and it was beautifully written! Cant wait to read more by this author!
I also love the formatting of this book, we got their love story as producer and actor, and also parts of the movie they were working on!
I listened to some chapters on the audiobook and read some on my kindle, and let me tell you - the audiobook was absolutely incredible!! What an experience! I was just listening and vibing to the story and suddenly the started singing? Wow!
The reason its not five stars is I just didn’t fall in love with them together but I do really like them!!
“Mama always said waiting for sunsets was like waiting for a miracle you knew would come,” he says, his voice graveled with the emotion in his eyes. “How happy she must be to know I finally found mine.”

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I love that this book was not only about love but all the talent so many black artists don’t get the recognition for! Such a wonderful read and a great audiobook that goes along with it!
Great story…present love and history makes a great match
