this book filled & warmed my heart. i found myself thinking abt it constantly. the characters were so well written , the romance was swoon worthy & kennedy’s ability to navigate difficult topics has always been a gift of hers. this story made me feel sm pride, for my culture & my people. it made me feel immense love, the type we all pray to experience one day. this is a revolutionary read.
