A nice book. Very similar to the 1996 movie. I think the parents treat Matilda a little better in the movie than the book which made them more personable in my opinion. In that way I think the movie was a little better but not much difference at all. A very good read.

I loved it.
I wish there was a sequel where she’s older. I know there was an explanation as to why her telekinesis stopped, but if it’s only that she was being stretched, I’m sure there would be a point in her education where she was fully caught up, and maybe it could flare again then? Or if it got more powerful after puberty? That would have been so cool to explore

I felt like this book was very well written book for children and I think it is a good book for children to read when they are starting to read novels.

The only bad thing I found about this book was I thought the end of the book felt rush and the author ran out of ideas and just wanted the book to be over.

Apart from that I thought this was a great book.
