I love Matilda. Both the character and the book. As a kid I wanted to be like her friend and have her around and as an adult I'd love to be the Miss Honey inher life and rescue each other in difficult times. Matilda is magic, Matilda is a deep love of books, of inteligence and empathy. Bullies get it what they deserve and heroines win. But in the meantime, we have a lot of fun in the way.

What happened in my childhood that I never read this book? I would have loved it!
Savannah and Jon both rate this book 5 stars, and I have to agree, it's my favourite Roald Dahl book by far.
