Este libro se convirtió en el primer libro de romance que disfruté realimente en mucho tiempo. Estaba un poco preocupada porque era muy largo pero disfruté cada página. Jack y Rose fueron de esos personajes que siempre me hicieron reír y en ciertos momentos conecté con ellos, me sentí identificada. Creo que lo que más destaco de este libro es lo mucho que los disfruté y como esta historia, a pesar de ser muy diferente, me alegró y me hizo sentir bien al leerla. Un libro muy lindo y por lo que provocó en mí, se merece sus 5

The writing is good and the story totally sucked me in til about half way in.
I loved the whole bit about 'forearm porn'.
BUT, Then it was bogged down with Rose's serious health issues and hospital visits and scary crap like that. If I wanted to read about people visiting doctors and surgeons I wouldn't read romance novels!
Finally 3/4 in, we get past that and it's time for Rose to learn the truth behind Jack's proposal... Her reaction was disappointing to say the least. I understand she had a right to be upset, but really, why is she upset??? He lied. Not to be mean, or selfish,. But other than that he's been the best friend she's ever had. Easy to say, as she apparently doesn't have any friends.. Hmmm...
She spends two pages verbally listing the things she doesn't like about him, to his face, and never says the things she does like him. Am I supposed to find that endearing? He keeps telling her that she is beautiful and precious to him, and she can't say one damn thing nice to him. This is how she prefaces the ILYs?
It reminded me of Darcy's proposal to Elizabeth.
Anyways, I found the book stressful and unpleasant and probably won't read this author again.

She was dating a liar just before marrying Jack. Jack had a brief fling with a coworker 4 years ago. Cynthia was a bit of a bitch when she first meets Rose, but was better later on. There's no recent info about him.

A la conclusión que llego tras leer este libro es que voy a morir solísima porque tengo los estándares por las nubes gracias a personajes como Jack.
Los quiero tantísimo a los dos. Adoro la tensión de cuando empiezan su matrimonio, realmente Rose no le aguanta, pero esa atracción; y cuando empiezan a estar más unidos es que- mi corazón no puede con tanto amor.
¿Y qué me decís del capítulo extra? Es que me ha sido imposible leerlo sin una sonrisa en mi cara. La relación que tienen es todo a lo que aspiro en ámbito amoroso, aunque todavía no tengo muy claro si soy la parte grumpy o la sunshine jajaj.
El plot twist, no sé si se puede llamar así, era bastante esperado aunque si me ha sorprendido un poco el motivo por el que lo hizo.
Conclusión: los amo y ya está, leed este maravilloso libro.
