Marriage for One is a top-tier slow burn with pining, fake marriage tension, and a broody hero who slowly opens up. I guessed the twists early, and wish she made him work harder, but still—4 stars and worth the read!

it's honestly a shame that this didn't stay as funny as it was at the start. i really was having a nice time at the beginning!!
the eventual plotline isn't great, and there is a small aspect of bias in my opinion because i hate anything with fictionalmedical content , since i work in that field and it's never right.
i think if you planted the same characters with a different plotline but similar enough, i'd have rated it higher.

There are a lot of these similar types of books. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s also not offending or excruciating to read. Beach reads, which to me is something that is easy to read (you can definitely get through it in a day), a predictable story, a little smut (because that is mandatory for these TikTok books, although, to be clear, I don’t mind it at all), and something you will probably have forgotten about in a week.
It’s a nice way to pass time. And this one definitely falls into that category.

this book was super cute, i think i did have my expectations a little too high but i still really enjoyed it. in love with jack
