What an amazing book. This book made me giggle, and cry, and smile, so many times throughout the course of 2 days. I Loved Jack and Rose. Perhaps my favorite thing about both of them was their willingness to adapt. For themselves, to each other & for each other. Jack is willing to be communicative and honest and Rose is willing to be open minded and forgiving. What I love about Rose is how she fights. She fights for what she wants and she doesn’t give in, even when what she wants isn’t always what’s best. I love that she noticed people and spoke to them. I love that once Jack noticed that she spoke to people he didn’t notice, such as the doorman (Steve) or the driver (Raymond), he started speaking to them and forming connections. I always feel like I repeat the same things in my reviews but I’m okay with that, because this book was truly a work of art. Lovely lovely book that fed my soul. <3
Loved this book. Will probably be using this as a yardstick to subconsciously compare to every other romance novel I read in the next few months. So sad it's over. Will definitely read again!!! I can't wait for Ella Maise to write something else. :)

this was a very cute slow burn romance. i feel like the first third to half of the book was a little bit slow and draggy, but the ending was so freaking cute. i felt like the concept around the marriage was a little bit ridiculous, but that’s okay. i really enjoyed jake and rose and the dual pov of this book. rose surprised me a lot because she had a good heart, but was also willing to stand up for what she believed in and put people in their place when needed. the ending to this book was too darn cute. although this seemed to be lacking in plot, i really enjoyed the relationship development.

I DESPISED the way this was written. The story wasn’t that bad but I could not stand the writing. I felt like there were so many aspects missing from the story as well, like it mentioned Rose’s best friends ONCE and then never again??? Also, please tell me why she was the one fighting for him when he was the one who fucked up???

Maybe it’s because I’m in love or maybe it’s the book, but this book is was EVERYTHING! I usually don’t like romance book that are long because they get drawn out and lose their storyline but this one is too cute to pass up. Definitely a good read
