The booked picked up at the exact 50% mark. Loved how this was all in a fairly small world and not too many people. The storyline is similarish to 50 shades (coming from someone who loved it. The Jack and Rose thing was a bit much but otherwise no complaints! Good happy read!
Tried to read this while walking and physically had to keep stopping cause it was too much, always a good sign!

i’m low-key embarrassed to say i’ve read this. i honestly don’t care that he helped her, his behaviour was so stalkerish I don’t even understand why it’s been romanticised but anyway.

I was obviously very late to the party of reading this book and I had some expectations but I tried to go into it without any hopes or expectations. I didn’t really know a lot about it but that it’s an arranged marriage and I found out that it’s grumpy/sunshine which I ATE UP! This book made me realize how much I love this trope and this book just hit the right spot.
I do wish there was just a tad bit more of Jack and Rose like I felt there was something missing between them. I think there were a lot of moments of them being there for each other but I wanted more scenes where they were just a couple. I did really enjoy just how their everyday life would go and I think that's what helped me really care for these characters since I was able to see how they would act and not based on a special occasion only if that makes sense.
Jack was just a really great grumpy character and I think that he was just perfect for Rose and vice versa. They were just perfect because even if they had a fake marriage, they were so great towards each other and the respect that Jack had for Rose literally made me love him so much. The thing that really got me was how he really helped her with her business and not just with obtaining the location but buying her fresh flowers and buying coffee from her store. Then the waiting for her at the end of the day, just omg, this man really made me love him.
Rose was honestly so adorable and I loved from her the start. She was just so great at being a girl boss and still wanting to run her business even if her fiance/ business partner bailed on her. She really was great and I loved how during her sickness she was still kicking ass. She's just one of those great characters that inspired me while I was reading.
Overall, this was a really great book, and honestly please go read it but I'm almost certain that everyone has read it already and I was the last one that waited forever to start. Anyway, go read and obsess over them just as I am and I'm sure that there are other people that love it just as much or more.
