not gonna lie, it took me a bit to really get into this book. but once i did, i quickly fell in love. especially with all the little things jack would do for rose.. that was so adorable. jack is a softie no matter how grumpy he makes himself out to be. OH rose’s count of when jack would first smile at her was so funny and cute

I mean.. it was alright? Too long for the miscommunication trope, but yeah.
rose was really cute and jack was the perfect grumpy softie but it didn’t hit as hard as i expected
i feel like the conflict was both not too important and too much. like i probably would’ve forgiven him real quick and not made a big deal of it like jack did, but i also him making her ex break up with her was kinda sus… so idk just felt strange/unnecessary…
the bonus scene with their daughter is so cute tho

Okay so, I give it 3,5 stars. I am not giving it 4 because there was no plot. Like it was marriage of convenience and that was it. I did really enjoy reading this book and I love Jack and Rose and their story. It was just so long plus no plot, that kinda ruined it. But I have to admit, all the scenes where Rose and Jack where together I loved. When they went to business party’s and stuff they fit so wel together. I mean he get’s her flowers every Monday at work?

Ok, this is hands down one of my favorite books of all time. I love a good marriage of convenience and this was amazing. I loved both of the characters and loved the plot. I was truly at the edge of my seat the entire time. What a great love story!
