5⭐️ Such a cute romance book, slow burner but so well written that you just feel appart or there marriage, every emotions from Jack or Rose were described and I just live being in the MC’s head !

Over all, the plot was nothing to scream about. I definitely liked the slow burn and the spice and the sexual tension, but the plot left me hanging. Nothing really happens. She runs her coffee shop, he works as a lawyer, and then there’s tension and he ends up being super sweet. There’s also a surprisingly heavy middle part which is where the characters bond and fall in love. These characters were just typical grumpy/sunshine and the 3/4 break up happens, and there’s clear misunderstanding and then they get together. Overall fun and quick though.

I absolutely love the romance between Rose and Jack. I found it real and honest ( well as honest as I could be ). Jack's transformation and character development is really apparent by the end and I appreciated the growth. I lived Rose and how she stayed true to herself throught the whole book. All the side characters were also quite interesting and it never felt like they were just there to be used and throwaway. I felt they were real everyday people that following along the romance of Jack and Rose just as we were. I also felt like I was along for the ride and that's what I liked the most about the whole story. Also, the steamy scenes were well executed if I may say so myself.

This book holds a special place in my heart. This was the book that got me back to reading. I love everything Ella writes but this is the top one for me and one of my forever favorites.
