I think this was my favourite Ella Maise book! Loved the story. So beautiful! Loved the romance between Jack and Rose, he was so grumpy but so loving and sweet. Totally recommend it!

Ahhhhahahahhhh!! This book was definitely a 5 star read for me. It had me smiling from ear to ear. Rose & Jack WOW! I loved that the author used those names to tell this beautiful story (as the titanic is one of my favorite movies). Everything about this book was sooo good. It was a slow read and I enjoyed that a lot.

This was a fairly easy read. It didn't have much going on plot-wise, but I didn't mind.
Sometimes it's nice to pick up a book that almost feels like a slice of life.

I've seen a few people say that the FMC was annoying and that felt like a personal attack against me (because I saw myself in her lol). I liked the tropes in this book as well as the whole NYC coffee shop aesthetic.

I wasn't really invested in the third-act conflict (as I am with most romance books). Overall it was a pleasant experience and there were moments where I swooned to my heart's content.

3 stars, and that’s being generous.

Marriage of convenience, grumpy/sunshine, slow burn - all winning tropes in my world, so why the low rating?

So much plot with no substance. So much dialogue with no conversation. The end was eye roll city.

Boy.....I get that this is supposed to be slow burn, but... goddamn it was waaaay too slow.

4 and a half. The first 70% was 5 stars, but towards the end, it started getting packed with content. For such a long book, I think the author could've paced everything a bit better because it started really slow, got to good pacing, and then finally was too rushed. Also, some of the dialogue and the smut was super cheesy. BUT overall it was a really good book, and one I thoroughly enjoyed for the most part.

3.5 ⭐️ . Marriage of convenience book! Grumpy/Sunshine as well which is one of my favorite tropes. Definitely felt more like a diary read in their day to day lives than a book with an overwhelming plot but it was good none the less.
