It took me about two months to finish this book.(skimmed the last few chapters)
This is coming from the same person that read two whole standalones in the same day.
So,
It was B-O-R-I-N-G
Nothing interesting happens. It's all downhill from the first chapter.
You're not missing out on anything if you don't read this.
Plus, the whole super rich arsehole alpa man that always get what he wants and thinks grunting is a response gets pretty old pretty fast.

This was such a comfortable, easy and fun read. It’s was almost entirely about two ppl in a “business transaction” marriage, falling in love and the fallout from secrets being revealed.
The Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak lessened the escapism of the book, but the relationship growth from this was lush to follow.

Marriage for One was a rich and decadent treat!
It's sprinkled with some of the tropes I love:
• Sunshine/Broody
• Marriage of convenience
• Close-proximity
• Taking care of someone while they're ill
After all, I was Rose, and he was Jack. We were doomed from the very beginning with those names. You know… the Titanic and all that.
The romance was sweet with a drizzle of spicy slow-burn that felt rewarding. Rose and Jack are one of those couples who are polar opposites but share an amazing chemsitry. She is the fire to his ice. He is the calm to her storm.
Although I felt some plot points were weak but I was more invested in the couple so I turned a blind eye to it.
This is a perfect read when you're in the mood for a sweet yet hot romance.

i enjoyed reading this book and I thought the plot was great, there were a few things I was kinda eh about in terms of their relationship but overall was a cute lil romance read.
presented with the opportunity i would punch jack in the face and then admit him to a mental facility bc how terrible and mean spirited do u gotta be to pay off a girls fiance to leave her, take his place, hide it from her your entire relationship, and then refuse to apologize for it ??????&:&-8,9;

Yeah so everyone on booktok needs to stop. I tried reading this last year and barely got 30 pages in before I gave up and this time was no better. Felt like I kept having to force myself to read in hopes literally ANYTHING. Would happen. I’m not kidding when I tell you there is almost no plot for 400 pages and then randomly a (fairly large) conflict comes in and BAM resolved by the end of the same chapter it was introduced. There was absolutely no reason for this book to be this long as it wasn’t even a slow burn you can tell they’re together by like 200 pages. Just overall a Wattpad girlie given too big of a platform in this case. The writing itself isn’t bad it’s just that literally nothing is going on. Idk why this is everyone’s holy grail (the MMC was fantastic but also I still would’ve been happier only have to read 350 pages vs 520). 3.25/5 stars because I still technically enjoyed myself even if it was like pulling teeth at points
