I started it having high hopes, as I’ve seen great reviews on the book and MMC, but I was disappointed unfortunately.
It took me 3 days to finish this book ( when usually I consume 1 book/day) and it says a lot.
didn’t gave me the emotional load i expected and craved
Too long for the plot it has and sometimes boring
Also take on the grumpy MMC was unsuccessful, his grumpiness was straight up rudeness and his “romantic acts” were basic, his groveling was… well weird
Didn’t DNF it but was more interested in my real life 😒

I know my book friends loved this one, and I liked it, but it didn't leave me feeling super loved-up. It was a bit drawn out, even for a slow burn. My first read from this author, but I'm sure I'll try more in the future.

What is up with the Female character, so far she is infuriating, like girl you were not focused to marry this man yet your making every excuse possible to make it seem that way. The male character does not know how to properly communicate without being cold and detached.

I love a good arranged marriage situation and this was just too cute to not be a 5 star read. All the roses that he got delivered for her, holding her hand through her sickness, standing outside for her forgiveness and then saying she's her home, melts my heart.
