this made all my grumpy/sunshine dreams come true.
how i feel about this book: talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique and every other positive word in the english language.
the only non-positive thing that comes to mind is about the direction the plot takes starting around the midway point. it seemed like it came completely out of left field, even with the hints that were dropped leading up to it. i definitely did see it coming, but idk. it just felt out of place, but obviously that didn't effect my rating in any way lol.
now. where is my hot grumpy lawyer man who'll bring me flowers every monday and only smile for me?? i'm waiting.

I was hooked at first but then it just dragged. This book could have easily been 200 pages shorter.

This slow burn was everything I could have ever asked for. The love and affection they had for each other but also the grumpy/sunshine trope had me gripped
