Okay. I really wanted to like this one. It's not...awful? I guess, but there's really very little plot to it. It's more like a plain sequence of events. Some of them, quite unnecessary. His motives when it.comes to the deception were rather weak, and the resolution of it all was even weaker. The smut was great and I'm greatful for that but everyone on booktok and booktwt was talking about this book and maybe i expected a lot more. At one point it becomes quite slow, i usually never put down a romance book but this one was sitting unfinsihed on my tablet for +2 weeks before i picked it up again. Not an awful read but I'm definetly not reading it again and not recommending it to anyone. The best thing about this book is the cover.
I didn’t like the third act breakup conflict even though it wasn’t the worst version of it I’ve seen. I really liked Jack & Rose and their relationship development was the highlight of the novel. Personally I’m not a fan of the way the intimate scenes were described but it wasn’t too much of a turn off for me.

I love their story, their dry humour the grumpiness the smiles the laughter and how fricken cute is the ankle holding!
This story may not be for everyone as it had a bit of a rough start but trust me it gets better and you just want them to be in love.
I won’t lie the random medical issue right in the middle came out of no where but I didn’t hate it. It actually reminded me of rom com movies
