One of the best grumpy-sunshine books out there. This trope owns me and combined with marriage of convenience is perfection. This books was everything I needed and more. I love Jack so much it hurts.
cute up till the middle but then idk what happened the writing was kinda awkward and the plot seemed to fall apart the longer it went on. think this could have been abt 200 pages shorter than it was. rose and jack were kinda cute tho! first kiss scene was sweet af

I think this is a 3.5 actually, which makes me SO SAD because I really wanted to love this!! Unfortunately, the slow burn was just a little bit too slow and not tense enough for me, and the middle just dragged. It felt like there was random stuff being thrown in for no reason. It was definitely to develop their relationship more, I just wish that the author had chosen a different way to do it. I also predicted the ending, which is never fun.
