For me, this was fine, but it was boring and really not much happened - which is okay, but I didn't feel enough connection to the characters to care about it being more character-focused. I'm interested in the author's writing as I think their approach to narrating books and creating fictions is more unique than I've seen, as in Evelyn Hugo, but, maybe it's because I was on the audiobook for this, it just felt extremely scattered and not cohesive. I found myself just wanting to get to the end, I knew it wouldn't really end well, but the whole book was an anti-climax that never felt it was even close to a climax in the first place.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the rock n' roll, 70s, biopic vibes. My main complaint (that keeps this from 5 stars) was that I felt very thrown in, like I was supposed to know more about the band/world than I did when I started the book. I don't think I ever really nailed down the band members' roles exactly. I also was annoyed at how objectified Daisy was by everyone in her life (even the women!), but I also think that that's maybe part of her character? That's a half-baked thought.

Was I torn between the chemistry of Daisy and Billy and really wanting Billy to be a good husband/dad the whole time?
Yes. Did I cry? Yes. Am I proud of people who aren't even real? Yes.

Gonna binge the whole TV show now!

it's so hard for me to read or watch about infidelity, it makes me sick to my stomach, but god this book can be an exception.
Daisy Jones it's not a girl's girl, but i can't blame her
cause Billy didn't help with that either, Camila deserve  better, she's literally an angel

This is such a good book, the format is awesome for a history like this.

I LOVE IT
