My error was reading this and "Demonologist" too close together. They have many similarities in both tone and story arc and I am going to have a very hard time keeping them separated in my mind.

Another instance in which I wish I could lobby Goodreads for the half-star, because this is not really a three-star book but not really a two-star book, either.
On the one hand this book is a fun page-turner, but on the other hand its characterization is almost nil and a Ouija board marks a significant plot point. Also: I'm really (perhaps unfairly) picky about the depiction of so-called rock stars in books and this book didn't make it any easier.

Glad I read this book. I didn't love "Horns," but I thought I'd try this one anyway. It started with a lot of action, started right in with the creepiness, and kept being creepy throughout.
