Okay guys — you need to add this to your holiday TBR right now (if it isn’t there already)! This series has so many small town, perfect snowfall, cozy holiday feels but with amazing twists.
One of my favorite things about this series is that it is so body positive, s3x positive and just so inclusive and accepting of all different people and lifestyles. The characters are all very different but mesh so well together and create both silly and poignant moments.
Kallum is a former boy band star who now owns a pizza chain, but thanks to the release of his s3x tape, he’s been asked to star in the new Hope Channel After Dark spicy Santa movie. His costar, Winnie, is a disgraced former good-girl child star fresh off a divorce to another actor who didn’t treat her very well. It isn’t long until Winnie realizes she’s going to have a hard time acting out passionate scenes when there are experiences she’s never had, so she asks Kallum for help. And his “lessons” and “research” with her are

this was not nearly as fun as the first one but that might just because it contained a particular romance novel trope I happen to hate

I loved the first 55% of this book and the last 5% of the book. The rest was just there. I missed the side characters from the first book. I liked seeing some reoccurring characters. I wasn’t a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope or the am I loosing the baby trope. It was all too much. They broke up twice because no one went to therapy. It just felt like there was too much longing and not enough talking. The struggle with Winnie’s parents was solid. The talk on purity culture was a much needed one. But there was about two hours of unnecessary yearning that I wish I could have done without.

If you are in anyway offended by reading anything sexual, don’t read this book.
I'll give this a 3.75 rounded up. It was wayyy longer than it needed to be but definitely cute. The first one was way better but I'm not upset I read it
