Ellen Hopkins never lets me down when I want to read something life changing.

The mormon lifestyle is a controversial topic, I live in Australia where there is only 150,000 mormons so i've never met one but from what i see online.. it scares me.
The lifestyle looks like it has its good but the bad is really bad.
I'll have to do more research i guess.

This book was so sad. It was hard to stick with and the ending was soul crushing. I guess you read this book if you want to feel terrible after.

This has been my all time favorite book since it came out when I was in middle schools. I read my hard copy so many times it was falling apart. I decided to ‘reread’ it again as an audiobook and I enjoyed it even more and it was like I was reading it with ‘new eyes’ (well... ears. Haha!). I read this book over and over praying the ending would change to a happily ever after for Pattyn and Ethan..

I loved this book. Read it in a day. It’s written as poetry, while being engaging throughout. This is a tragedy, make no mistake. But there is so much love in it- it hurts. I told myself I was done reading series but I will finish this one.
