Shut Up and Run

I had high hopes for this book but was ultimately disappointed. There are so many grammar and spelling mistakes in here in astounds me how this got past an editor (presumably several rounds of it). The training plans were cookie-cutter and the tone and messaging is the kind of stuff you'd find on one of those old school motivational posters.

I really wanted to like this, but in the end I wish I could get my money back... I'll be donating this the next time I clear out my bookshelf.

I found this book to be a bit awkward. It’s written in a way that begs you to quote it on social media, which is more surface level than I had expected/wanted to see. It includes some basic advice, but the beginner plan is contradictory to other portions of the book and seems like a quick path to injury.

Honestly, it’s on me. I should have stopped at the group photo that listed  the same job title in front of every single person in the photo.  (It went something like “Peloton Instructor Name, Peloton Instructor Name, Peloton Instructor Name,” for like 10+ people.)
