My latest trip down the road of A.R. Torre reads wasn't the best as this was a pretty mediocre read with a trope that while done over and over again in other thrillers still fell short of what I've come to love about them. There weren't many thrills inside this thriller and I found myself just wanting to get to the end to see if there would be a surprise twist that would potentially take this from a 3 to a 4 star read but no dice. Still love me some A.R. Torre but this one simply just wasn't one of her best.

A fun domestic thriller that draws me into an entertaining drama of two obsessive, manipulative, insane women pretending to be friends and secretly judging each other's boobs size. This is the third book I've read by AR Torre, and I really like her writing style. It has a nice quality and a natural flow, and it's very engaging. I just felt a little bit disappointed with this one, because I was expecting and waiting for a bigger reveal, but it left me feeling like something was missing. Overall, I was having an enjoyable time reading it, especially the remaining 30% of the book.
