I enjoyed seeing the character development of Phoenix, especially towards the end. I do think the book ended rather abruptly but the angst, the learning, the laughter, I enjoyed this book to the fullest! Sometimes the characters pissed me off but they’re flawed people, what can we do hahah

I absolutely loved this book. I devoured it and couldn't put it down. But the ending made no sense to me. It kinda ruined it and was quite abrupt.

This book dives into love, betrayal, and redemption. The story centers on Lennon Michael and Phoenix Walker, two teenagers from extremely different backgrounds whose lives become wound together.  Lennon tutors Phoenix to help him graduate HS. They form a bond through music until the ultimate betrayal. They are thrown back together, Lennon is out for revenge and Phoenix isn’t prepared for what is about to happen and how they both will feel! This book has all the dang feelings!! I love this book soooo much! It will take up residence in my mind for the rest of my life.
