This book started off super strong—great tension, drama, and the plot had me hooked. But once I hit the 60% mark, it completely lost steam. The plot basically vanished, and it turned into nonstop smut (and not even the good kind). There was no real communication between the characters, nothing got resolved, and it just kept dragging. I ended up DNF’ing at 60%.

This novel has my heart. It has all the twists and turns. When I was telling my friends about it, I think I described it as "strangers to friends to lovers to enemies to enemies-with-benefits to friends-with-benefits to lovers." If you're a fan of Chase Atlantic, this book is probably most definitely for you. Also, don't even get me started on the smut. I get bored reading smut because to me, it's all the same in one way or another. Most of the time I even put my book down when I get to smut or nod off while reading it; however, that was not the case with this book. The author did an amazing job writing. I definitely recommend.
Oh my god.......you might think this book is so long.....must be full of unnecessary things.....but can you believe I gobbled it up in 2 days.....man it'll make you forget that you're reading......I loved loved LOVED it.......
