Sibby's story is far more compelling that Adeline and Zade's. She may be crazy, but at least she isn't in love with the man that literally raped her šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

This book was intense.

The ending was not what I expected at all and was sad to me.
This book is a clear example of the most extreme effects of abuse.

Satan’s Affair by H.D. Carlton was one wild, twisted ride—and I enjoyed every blood-soaked page of it. Sibby is insane in the most entertaining way. She gave me major Harley Quinn vibes with her chaotic energy, unhinged thoughts, and gleeful love for mayhem. Honestly, I was living for her narration.

The carnival setting added a gritty, eerie atmosphere that made the whole story feel like a fever dream—and I mean that in the best way. It’s definitely not your typical romance, and it’s more about the psychological, the gruesome, and the twisted than any love story. But for what it is, it delivers.

That said, there were parts that felt a little repetitive, and while I loved Sibby, I didn’t always feel connected to the pacing or plot outside of her. Still, for fans of dark, disturbed heroines and serial killer chaos, this is a fun (and freaky) little horror treat.

Perfect if you like your main characters bloody, bold, and batshit.
