Satan's Affair

⭐ 2 stars – This wasn’t a dark romance. This was a blood-soaked fever dream with zero chill and way too much giggling.

I thought I was ready. I was not ready. Between the black pages blinding my aging eyeballs and the main character rolling around in entrails like it’s a spa day, I honestly didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or call an exorcist.

Was there a plot? Maybe. Hard to tell through all the blood and batsh*t.
Was it sexy? Only if you find murder clowns hot.
Would I recommend it? Only to someone I low-key hate.

I like my horror with edge, not unhinged interpretive dance in a murder tent.

Absolutely loved it

finally read this AFTER haunting/hunting & where’s molly - I just love sibby and loved this quick little read!

good stuff

This was a well written mental health book. She captured the brokenness amazingly and she wrote a loveable character doing so.

So good and twisted! Sibby is just so crazy but also you really feel for her!

Let’s get into it!
Can’t handle gore, then don’t read this as descriptions of actual limbs being sawed off are in it.
The book opens with Sybil cuming because she slashes a “demon” to the point where he is nothing but brian mater, and then her “henchmen” enter to finish her off… if you get what I’m saying.
That doesn’t sound like it’s for you? Then don’t read the cat and mouse series because it’s not for the faint of heart.
Okay, I’m very happy this wasn’t overhyped on booktok because it helped me come up with a true sense of the book.
This is technically the first book in the haunting Adeline series even though it came out after.
It is the lovable killer Sybil’s back story. This book overlaps Haunting Adeline and it’s very obvious, so no matter the order you read the series you’ll pick it up really quickly.
I really like the authors writing style and think she tells a super entertaining story!

Review

Hot and crazy! This was a quick but wild read and I loved every second of it! The characters, the storyline, the smut. Yes, it was so well written! Moving on now to Haunting Adeline!
