So hot!!! Love the multiple POV and the steamy scenes. It's got everything...likeable characters with lots of feels. Hot MM scenes too.

3.5 stars.

DNF'ed at 44%. It's cute, it's sweet, it's spicy. Perfect beach read, will be done with it in an afternoon. The FMC just wasn't working for me and I didn't like that one of the MMCs got mean.

I stopped it in chapter 3 after the FMC whined that she doesn't know why any man would ever want to kiss her! Also, chapter 1, immediately call the police.

so virgin nerdy girl is not usually a FMC type i will go for but it wasn’t awful here
at first the characterizations felt kind of rushed but as the story continued there seemed to be more depth added which i liked
i liked that Fletch and Shane’s relationship was explored just as much as Pen’s relationship with them both
maybe the reason Pen didn’t bother me as a awkward nerdy girl is because that whole shtick didn’t last super long, she gained confidence quickly
communication and consent are both viewed as important which i also really liked
i do hate the name Penelope though, like so much
i also dislike how Shane kept referring to her as “little sister” when he was also attracted to her when they weren’t related at all, it just felt weird lol
and ok minus points for the way the MMCs start calling the FMC “Velma” unironically all the time it just completely took me out of the story and was weird as fuck lol
there is also a level of exploration for all of them, not just Pen, as they figure out their poly dynamic
the reason for Pen moving though at the beginning is like, never addressed again which felt a little plot-holey, like what happened to the bitchy roommate?
not the best work of literature ever but it sure kept me engaged and entertained!
