The Lucky One

I love Nicholas Sparks whether it's his books or the movies people have created of his books. This novel; however, was wonderful. the beginning started to drag on and I was tempted to stop the book completely, but I knew there would be some type of love in here which made me want to continue to read. I also really enjoyed how he put in flashbacks of Logan Thibaut's experiences as a US Marine. I learned that there is always a hero and a villain in books and I really enjoyed how he came up with two of the characters in The Lucky One. I recently heard there was going to be a movie based on this book and I am thrilled to see how it is all going to come together. I would recommend this book to many different people. Especially those who enjoy a good love story.

I gave this book four stars because of the beginning and how I felt it dragged on, but it was still a wonderful book and I thrilled that I was able to read it! What are you waiting for? Pick up a copy!

Complicated and genuine . I thought it ended rather abruptly and the ending was not one I expected.

Started out really good, didn't know what to expect. I feel that the characters got together too quickly, and when they did the story fell into it's typical routine, so although it was good, it was typical.

My first Nicholas Sparks novel and I thought it was pretty good. Definitely entertaining and a quick read.
