It's a very good depiction of a very akward teenager. It's extremely similar to the movie with just some things better explained. I would say it's a good read for teenagers and fans of the movie (like myself).
emotional funny reflective sad

"Dear Evan Hansen" offers a captivating journey through a web of accidental white lies that begin to transform the lives of the characters in the story forever as they procreate. Evan's likable and relatable nature draws readers in with his both humorous and heartfelt narration. The occasional narration from Connor offered a nice juxtaposition of the two lives and another side to the story that reminds us that things and people aren't always how they seem. It leaves us questioning how little we might actually know about those we feel close to. Overall, a very well-written and compelling read by Val Emmich that strikes a balance between entertainment and emotional resonance.
