I highly recommend that you read the short story Alpha and Omega before reading this book. The context is very important to the story and since rereading this book, I think I enjoyed it a bit more. Still 4 stars, though.
Read this eons ago but never got around to finishing the series. Years later, it's still a fun time! A bit slower burn but book 2 is already locked and loaded

This was pretty good. I felt like the majority of the book centered on overcoming the torture Anna had been subjected to. So, it was nice to read a book without a super alpha female in it. Didn't super like the ending though, it just didn't explain enough and was too quick.

I'd give it 4.5 stars, it's not without its flaws but I love it and I've read and listened to it round 4 times over the years.
Just a fantastic mix of action, fantasy and the perfect romance :) I read everything by Patricia Briggs!
The writing is atrocious, the dialogue is atrocious, the story doesn't make sense, no pacing, no world building. Awful.
