The Thrashers is a YA thriller following a FMC, Jodi, and a group of high school kids known as the Thrashers. Emily is another character who was a former Thrasher member. I thought that this book was slightly predictable however I still really enjoyed it. I did like the ending and how it all tied together. The way that Jodi got sucked into the lifestyle, eventually getting wrapped up into the latest scandal, goes to show that even those you think you ‘know’ have secrets to hide. I felt so bad for Hannah throughout the entire book, she loved her sister so much.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read and review this book.

This was a quick read/listen and I was invested in it. Some good twists and turns. An enjoyable thriller.

Julie Soto’s Thrashers is like a modern version of Christopher Pike or R.L. Stine of my high school years, but with more narrative. It’s really hard to describe this mystery/thriller without giving too much away. But it is hard to put down, I finished in two days because I couldn’t put it down and had no idea where it was going to go next.

Honestly that was a cool book. There was accidents every other chapter so I was a bit concerned that
everyone would just die
but they didn’t so I felt like I was able to bond with the characters (some more than others obviously). The epilogue was crazy too!! I’m still a bit confused on Emily and some of her motives but also liked the way it ended up coming together.
