What’s a better setting for a book when it’s stupid hot outside than it to be set in winter and there’s talk of snow and American football? Nothing, exactly. This book helped me cool down, even during the steamy moments (and they were definitely steamy!). I loved it! I just wanted to hug both of them several times, and tell them everything would be okay, haha!

Loved it!

It’s been sometime since I’ve picked up a book I couldn’t put down, this story filled that gap. It was wonderful, two polar opposites finding what was missing without even looking.

2.5 stars really. It was pretty sweet, I really liked how Mikey and Tiller were basically together without actually being together for years. Tiller was so sweet, and there were a few hilarious quotes. It took me a good while to finish though because the story didn’t make me feel compelled to keep reading all the time. I also hated Mikey’s father/the douchebag coach.

This was the perfect sugary sweet and low-angst read.
I really like Lennox’s writing; the banter was very funny and the romance scenes were well-done. I loved the combination of sarcastic, smart-mouthed nerd and laidback, sweetheart athlete.
A great choice if you’re looking for a wholesome MM friends-to-lovers.
