Not my favourite in the series, but still a good read. This one was shorter than the previous books, and it felt shorter. Meteo and Nell weren't as well-rounded as previous characters in the series and their story felt a bit rushed.

I did enjoy Nell's list, and thought it was a great catalyst for the story and Ms. Carmack's books in this series seem to be getting steamier as we go - no complaints on that end!

The problem with the characters might have more to do with me than them - I felt in an instant connection with Dallas and Silas is definitely my favourite of the three guys so far. I didn't feel any strong connection to either the H or h here, but that's not to say someone else couldn't.

I'm still hooked on this series and looking forward to the next one!

I really liked this book. It was more than solid, it was entertaining and it was lightly compelling. I really enjoyed the characters and their troubles. It was the most intriguing book I've read, but it was still well written. I liked that the heroine wasn't the typical heroine; she was a bit of a nerd (in the academic sense, not the dorky sense). She had been so focused on her studies, that she was starting to feel left out socially, so she begins an adventure of trying out "normal" college experiences. With the help of her roommate/friend she starts going to parties and trying to make new friends. She's not reckless and she's not too timid. It's a perfect mix that allows her character to be really easy to relate to. I liked her relationship with Mateo Torres. They had a lot of hurdles to navigate as they try to figure out what is happening between them. Overall my only complaint, which is quite minor, was that the middle of the plot was a little too lacking in intrigue, that it dragged just a little. However, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels.

You know what is it that I loved so much about this book?
It reminder of myself. I too was just like Nell. Just cared about school, doing my schoolwork on time, attending to every class (actually cry when I could go to one or was just late)
And once again, just like Nell, it was my boyfriend who got me out of my school shell. He made me experiment a lot of new things, made me change routines once in a while. Helped me be better at being myself, more confident and all.

I loved this book. Because of Nell. Because of Teo. Because of Cora. Because of everything that made this book so awesome and perfect. I could read it over and over again (which I did, finished this then read All Broke Down, then again this one)

So, I guess the only thing left to say is: go, buy this book, read it, love it, then buy the rest of the series, they're great.

Although this isn't my favorite in the series, I still really enjoyed it. I mostly love the fact that this one had a lot to do with football, more so than the last two. It took me a while to finish it, not because I didn't like it, I just found it to be a little slow in the. beginning for me so I kept putting it down and read another book instead. Once I came back to it, it only took me a day to get through it.

First Cora Camack was a hit!

This book was so much fun! I enjoyed the nerd/jock storyline, and especially loved Nell and Teo. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.

I was kind of expecting Mateo's story to be a throwaway. Just fluff and filler till we get to Stella's story. Boy was I wrong. I LOVED Mateo and Nell's story. It was so much fun but was also more than that. There were a lot of genuine emotions in there. There wasn't a whole lot of stupidity and we got a really strong female lead. This author knocked it out of the park with this one.

I loved this book and this series, it was a reread for me. It’s fun and a fast read, the characters are pretty relatable and all have pretty diverse personalities that all just work. My only issue with these books is that they end to fast. We get to live the “getting to know you” phases but as soon as it’s exclusive that’s it the books over. Which is ok because we do get the hea but I’m one of those readers that wants more. How does it work out???? The other 2 were ok to end that way because we see more of those couples in this book but now the series is over and I just feel like I need to know what happens next.

Mateo & Nell

It starts with a list and whole lot of heart and dedication.
Nell for me is one of my most favorite characters I have ever read. And I have read a lot. She is shy but not sufficiently so, if that makes sense. She is smart without throwing it in your face she just doesn't know who she really is yet. And that's part of the college experience she was lacking hence the list.

And that's where Mateo come in. He kind of shakes up her world a whole lot. He gets her to see she isn't just the smart girl, she is the fun girl, the funny girl, and the girl that can make mistakes, and its not the end of the world.
Nell doesn't know it but she brings out the best in Mateo too. He needed to see past his past and see that what happened in then doesn't mean they are going to be repeated. No two girls are the same no matter the similarities.
And that maybe just maybe something can come in front of football not obliterate it be just show him that it doesn't have to be all or nothing kind of thing, he is more then just football.

This book is my favorite so far of the whole series. I am sure that will change with Stella's book. And I get why her book wasn't third and for me I am really looking forward to her book the most. Sooooo now we wait..... is it out yet??? lol
