My favorite thing about this series is the art. The colors, the way the characters are drawn, I just love the whole style. It really works well for this Greek mythology re-telling, honestly. It also helps bring all of these characters to life, even if I don't always remember who is who is Greek mythology. But I digress.

Persephone might be my favorite character, at least so far. There's just something about her that's so warm and welcoming. I think it's hilarious in this one that they point out the age difference between her and Hades, because that's the case in so many fantasy romances like this. More fantasy books that kind of poke fun at that, please!

All in all, I'll probably keep reading this becuase it's enjoyable and fun and just really entertaining to read.

Episode 47 in particular was so well-written.

I loved seeing the story continue! The artwork and style are still unique and amazingly vibrant. We also get more depth in both Persephone and Hades' characters, and I felt for Minthe. She still isn't a favorite based on personality, but she became more sympathetic. Hera did as well, since she came in with a plan to get the central romantic pair together.

I do wish we got more plot though on some pages. Some panels did beautiful storytelling without dialogue, but I wanted to see more character dynamics via dialogue. Also, I know Apollo is meant to be unlikable in this story, but none of his mythology is mentioned. He has past relationships that could have been mentioned. Maybe in the next volume?
