Definitely mind-reeling trying to keep up with the nonsensical story but definitely a fun read.

When I was reading this book it felt like a fever dream. It was ironic because of the ending of the book but I really liked it and it’s a fun, quick read for something that’s most likely going to take you a day. If you enjoy it enough. Anyways, it was enjoyable and I liked the illustrations of some of the scenes even though some were a little creepy

I started reading this book as an adult, which I think was a mistake. I believe I would enjoy it more as a child. Sadly, I cannot turn the time back.
This book was lovely, funny, and very VERY random in some chapters. Not to mention the amount of poems! Sometimes I got lost in them. During the whole book, we follow Alice (and her adventures) who is 7 throughtout both books and who like all 7 year old children is very curious about everything.I loved how she said "Curious!" on everything. I found it lovely. I love the story of Alice in Wonderland. I wasn't equally impressed with Throught the Looking-Glass. Sometimes I got really confused with the idea of characters being chess pieces moving on a chess-board.
Overall: 4,5 stars.

I can see the appeal of this nonsense book. It’s a children story that is not suppose to make sense to adults. The characters are weird. The story has no linear flow. Alice both shrinks and grows in size throughout the story. This plays out in interesting ways. Overall, a whimsical tale of a crazy dream of a child’s imagination.
Characters:
Alice
White Rabbit
Mad Hatter
Mad Hare
Mad mouse
Queen of hearts.
The duchess.
The gryphon.
The mock turtle.
The caterpillar with hookah.
Cheshire Cat with the creepy smile.
The duchess, baby pig, and cook.
And some others that I am probably forgetting.
