Fun read! I love short story collections for the vast array of stories and characters one can encounter in a sweep of 300-odd pages. Poirot features prominently in each of these stories, his presence which dwindles with the later novels. The puzzles are fun. I read this after seeing the David Suchet adaptation and enjoyed both versions

Great collection of short stories/ collection of case with Poirot.

Even though it was a connected series of short stories I simply don't love short stories half as much as novels. Nonetheless this was a fun little bunch. Some better than others of course and I'm thinking maybe I would have gotten more out of it if I was more familiar with Greek mythology. Still pretty good though.

A really clever collection of short stories that all contain a link to the mythical 12 labours of Hercules and one that I would highly recommend!
