I actually loved this graphic novel sequel more than the first White Knight book apparently dubbed the "Murphyverse." Azrael has never been one of my favorite characters, but the development and portrayal that happens in this book was great.
Another good addition to Sean Murphy's storyline, with a lot of added lore. There's more interesting takes on characters but the story isn't as compelling as the first White Knight book.

Drinking game: every time someone in this book complains about the vague "elites" that run Gotham, take a shot. You'll die of alcohol poisoning before you finish, but at least you won't have to suffer through the dated and milquetoast Occupy Wall Street-style anticapitalist messaging anymore.
Overall not horrible, but it reeks of "well this is non-canon, so let's see how absolutely ridiculous we can make this story!" Way too many sudden deaths of popular characters, and gets very preachy sometimes. High point: Azrael slinging dope Bible verses before slaughtering people.

Definitely a Batman comic book for sure. I like when the Joker is involved. Just nothing super special enough happened for me to give it a higher rating. The graphics were good—old school comic books/superhero tales aren’t always my favorite graphic novel style.
Espectacular continuación de El Caballero
Blanco y se mete sin duda dentro de mis historias de Batman de siempre. Tenía dudas sobre la continuación pero realmente merece mucho la pena todo el Batman de Sean Murphy.

This was cool.
It's definitely not going to be my favorite take on the batman any time soon, but it had a lot of good emotional hits that were really powerful.
It wasn't afraid to show that Bruce had lost himself, but that he still felt things deeply. And that becoming too lost in being Batman was the wrong way to go.
I see a lot of elements of the new film drawn from this, in terms of just ... not focusing on where the Wayne fortune is being spent, and not running his own company. I think that it's a really interesting story and I'm wondering if I should look into the Harley White Knight follow up or not, and then I'm going to need to reread the issue one of Batman Beyond White Knight because it's going to have a lot more impact to me now.
I did also really enjoy the Von Fries story that was added to this, and I felt like it was a really interesting take on the character.

White Knight might go down as one of my all-time favorite Batman stories so I was eager for the follow up but this is just okay. Too overstuffed and convoluted for its own good. I always like learning about the greater origins of Gotham but the way it’s put to use here leaves a lot to be desired.
