Hero at the Fall

Only 4/5 stars out of respect for the one character I am still distraught over losing but whatever!!!

Rebel of the Sands is a marvelous and adventurous trilogy which brings you in the heart of a legend. Well written, well described, it takes you deep within the mysterious aspect of the desert.

In this third and final book, many decisive and finals choices are made to win the book. People are lost, people are found. People are tested. Will they make the choices for the greater good? Will they sacrifice themselves willingly? Or will day be selfish? In the heart of the war, nobody can really be a judge of what is right and what is wrong.

I was so captivated, I read the book within the day!

i- i’m in shock rn

this was incredible why does literally nobody talk about this series????

This was by far the least predictable book in the series. Some of the events in the book were still predictable
such as Noorsham being the “man in the mountain” and Amani imprisoning Zaahir, but some of the other events such as Hala and Sam’s death, I didn’t see coming what so ever. Just so we’re clear the water running down my face when Jin and Amani almost died weren’t tears.

Perfect ending for an amazing trilogy. From back to the beginning to back to the end, it was joyful and heartbreaking to read, but at the same time not too heartbreaking for someone like me who doesn’t enjoy war stories. The whole rich and beautiful mythology of the world took me with it and carried me all the way to the wonderful end.

I can't sing the praises for this book and this series enough. It you thought about reading it please do it's amazing and so worth the feels.

What did you do to me Alwyn Hamilton!!!!!!!! I have way to many feels in this book you put my emotions through the wringer.

The friendships is one of my favorite parts of the book

I can't say much without spoiling, but all the deaths in this book broke me, all the happy and sweet moments brought a smile to my face, and all the humor in this book made me laugh.

I love every single character in this book so much i grew so attached to the characters and i felt like i was right there beside them.

Almost all of my theory's came true and I was so happy. But I also never saw some of the plot twist coming; I fell in love with Alwyn Hamilton's writing the storytelling aspect was incredible.

My favorite chapter in this whole book was chapter 36. I read this chapter twice i loved it so much.

Chapter 42 and 43 broke me. I have never in all my life cried as much as I did during these two chapters.

The final instalment to the Rebel of the Sands trilogy and through this book I held my breathe, put the book down, cried (yes cried) and literally kept reading until I found out what happened to Amani and her Rebel friends.

I wasn’t disappointed well ok I was as something happened that I didn’t want to happen and yes that is what made me CRY!

Alwyn Hamilton is a fantastic writer and as I have said previously she is so descriptive that you literally feel like you are with the Rebels fighting the Sultan.

I won’t spoil anymore of the book but I want to say a massive thank you to Fabre Children for sending me this book!

4,5/5

This was EXCELLENT! I laughed, I cried, I suffered, I celebrated. What a good conclusion to the series!
