I great ending to a great trilogy in my opinion. I don't think there was ever a time where I found the story dragging on too much. A few things made me think "well that's very convenient for the progression of the story" but those were sparse and didn't take away from the wonderful experience it's been to read this book – and the trilogy over all.

The finale did not disappoint! This was a great adventure series. Plenty of entertaining twists. Fans of the Hunger Games and Divergent Series would love these books.

I laughed, I cried, I freaked out, I calmed down, I wanted to be there and anywhere but there, I wished to be part of this family and world. I have nothing more to say just: Love it!

4.5 stars. Excellent writing and a great ending!!

What an adventure! This last book in the series was by far the best one. I loved the storytelling between the action and I the author's choice to not save every good character. The magical elements were thrilling and I felt that we got to know Amani on a much deeper level in this book. While I had one issue with the way it ended (that I will not mention here because of spoilers) I really loved the growth in each character and the idea that people are not just good or bad that runs throughout. I'll be buying this series for my high schoolers for sure!

I loved this book so much! I have no word left to write. Omg I’m sad and I’m glad. Loved this series wow in love with Amani and Jin. Speechless 😮

I LOVE IT SO MUCH
4.7/5 STARS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE UNNECESSARY (BUT NECESSARY) PAIN THAT IT CAUSED ME.

SPOILERS FROM HERE*******************************
THANK THE STARS AMANI AND JIN SURVIVED. THAT WHOLE SACRIFICE DEBACLE. MAN OH MAN. MY HEART STILL HURTS EVEN THOUGH I'M SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW HAHAHA
Hala... My girl... Her death ruined me... but I don't think any death in this book will ever be more painful than Imin's. I still hate it. I understand Hala. Freedom. Every quote about her death I want to quote to everyone. Just so beautiful. And Sam. Oh Sam. I was in complete denial. Like, he couldn't DIE from those Abduls?????? And then the next chapter came and I just completely fell apart :((((
The epilogue. I love it so much.
And I hate how little Shazad was in the book. She was only in the second half???? I love her so much. I am so so so happy about her becoming the Sultima :D My girl!!!!
I have so much more to say but my eyes hurt from all the crying so. Edit later :)
