A story about a girl conquering her inner (and literal) demons. I found Olivia endearing and chaotic in the best way. Her inability to talk created interesting dynamics with the other characters. The main villain was truly haunting.
Loved the interpretation of home and what it means to belong. And that those who leave us are never truly gone.
Wish there had been more answers to the questions, but story remained very focus on Olivia. Also feel some of the inner turmoil was cut short leaving to some anticlimactic moments.

3.5 / Fue muy entretenido y la manera de escribir de Victoria siempre hace la experiencia mucho más fluida y natural. Me pareció bastante interesante la dinámica de que Olivia no hablara, además de los diarios ( que hicieron la experiencia más interactiva ) y las vibras que emana. Sobre el final, no me lo esperaba así. Pensé que todo se iba a resolver sin consecuencias como en ciudad de fantasmas y bueno……. Si se resolvió pero no tan feliz.

i really love how olivia was written. the ending felt...safe. might not be the exactly right word for it but it's the one that's coming to mind as i write this. kind of a christopher nolan ending of sorts. all in all an enjoyable read though
I decided to DNF this at p.199. It was sending me into a reading slump as I felt 0 need to return to the story. the book is gorgeous though and has some clever styling choices. I just didn't connect with anyone in it
