I put this book down about 20 pages before the ending after being awestruck for the first 95% of it. I thought it was a beautifully insightful (but obviously fictional) interpretation of the world. I'd be a bit concerned if someone took it to heart and actually BELIEVED some of this stuff, but it was interesting nonetheless. However, it became extremely dated, and blatantly offensive, and downright impossible, once it got to the last insight. I can tell that Redfield is a tad convinced he's rewriting the bible, or Dianetics, depending on how you look at it? And he's not far off--the blatant homophobia in its most crucial parts reminds me of both of those texts so...mission accomplished James bud!

Genuinely life-changing

Not understanding why people are talking about this being real. The message behind it is what matters. Maybe almost 30 years ago they marketed this as a real adventure? But it’s clearly fictional to me about how we can raise our energy as a whole? Anyways, cool story, take from it what you may.

En hyggelig roman omkring intuition.
Det er måske fjerde gang jeg læser den og det er ikke sidste gang.
Slutningen er fesen, men resten er anrettet i mundrette bidder.

A cute spiritual adventure story. Definitely uplifting and hopeful, but some parts felt outdated.
