I think this book had flashes of potential and insight. I thought it would be more about spiritual growth but it was a poorly done "adventure" novel most of the time. The ideas of control dramas and slowing down to engage more deeply I did appreciate, but the whole energy transference idea didn't land well for me. I think if the attempt at the narrative and dialogue had been dropped this would have been a much more captivating and intriguing study of spirituality and human interactions/motivations.

Just wow.
My mom's always been telling me that I need to read this book, and I finally got around to it. The first two chapters were hard for me to get through, but once I got to chapter three, I couldn't put it down. I read pretty slow and I finished this in 3 and a half days (very fast for me). The fictional story mixed with the spiritual truth is so interesting. I want to try adopt some of the teachings of the manuscript and actually try to do my best to fill myself with love and energy to a point where it becomes second nature. This book was fun to read and it opened my eyes to this new way of thinking. Now I have to read the next 3 books. So so good, 10/10 recommend.

It does a good job communicating complex ideas through a story however this causes everything to be oversimplified. The story itself isn't good or gripping and I didn't form a connection with any of the characters, but that isn't the purpose of this book. I found it very interesting.
This was lent to me by a friend, and I have to say, I really loved it. The concepts are so aligned with how I view the world, so I found it really easy to understand.

The only reason I read this book was because it was given to me while I was waiting for the megabus. The guy told "it would change my life". I was amused enough by the guy to promise to read it. I finally got around to it. It is an easy read and I could see how it is a very appealing book to some people. I personally just found it silly.
