This was an interesting book if you can get past the limited writing ability of the author. The author has a lot to say but I would recommend he re-write it after he refines his writing skill. This won't stop me from reading his other books though. The fact that this book is one of the best selling books of all time gives me hope though. One of the readers of my book "The Infinite Jeff" said "The Infinite Jeff" reminds her of "The Celestine Prophecy", only better written. I would love to see "The Infinite Jeff" be in the minds of as many minds as "The Celestine Prophecy" has been.

It's really interesting to see how we can connect everything in our lives. This book close to literally blew my mind. I can't wait to read the other books by James Redfield.

This was the inaugural read for our then newly formed book club. We learned to do our homework for future selections and not be seduced by the popular book of the time.

Two chapters in and I knew we'd made a mistake. The "prophecies" were the most basic idioms of any motivational program. There are no new or mind-challenging insights here.

This was a waste of my time and money and I only finished it because I was the book discussion leader.

I’m glad to have read it, though it was slow and uninteresting at parts. Some of the insights really landed with me personally, and others didn’t. Also the views of Christianity, economic systems, and government systems are outdated as we now currently see their flaws and harm, specifically toward minorities and oppressed peoples.

***note: the author uses the mysterious disappearance of the Mayans to prove a point on spirituality. It’s important to note that the Mayans didn’t disappear and still exist today.***
