"It's the beautiful moments like this that make up for the ugly love."

This book is already on my top 2 of Colleen Hoover's. Every words, every feelings, every parts of this book has been drowning me out.
I know... I know.. Miles Archer is a living and breathing red flags. He wants to be a fuck buddy for Tate Collins. And this Tate Collins who wants to "save" Miles from his past is kinda stupid. But..

Nonetheless, this book is really enjoyable. Fucking enjoyable.. I can't stop reading, also because A LOT OF SEX SCENES and it's kinda turning me on. Typical Colleen Hoover.

SO INTENSE!!

But, overall. This book is a fucking yes from me. I know Miles Archer is full of red flags, but also he is the nicest guy ever. And I love the ending....

“I didn’t fall in love with you… I flew.”

Can she add some woman to woman interactions? Every book I've read so far has a female protagonist who only manages to have meaningful interactions with men. I'm not even sure this book passes the bechdel test, which is already a very low bar.

Oh, Colleen done it again, ladies and gentlemen..

It's been a while since I bought this book and I have no idea why I let myself holding myself to read this book. Seriously. What is wrong me?

Miles is a fucked up Hero. He's so fucked up yet at the same time mesmerizing, heartbreaking, tear-jerking and panty-melting. He's pilot, young one, he's tall, he rarely smile but when he did, all eyes are on him. That's what made Tate couldn't stop thinking about him. So when the chemistry is sparkling and Miles admit that he attracted to her, Tate said yes immediately. Yes to his no-relationship-purely-sex-only and no question ask conditions. But now Tate want more and the thing is, Miles don't want more.

It's ugly. It's beautiful. It's hurting and it's freeing. But as much as I want to slap Tate in the face and yells 'you deserve so much better, girl!' at her, I can't help but understand her feeling.

This book is much better than Maybe Someday personally, because even though Miles's still hung up on his past, he love Tate and willing to fight for her. I loved it . Overall I enjoyed it and I can't wait to read another book from Colleen Hoover plus hearing the song based on this book!

I liked this book…though be warned, it’s like 50 shades of grey without the S&M. But troubled main character. Who is written very sexy. And lots and lots of sex scenes.
dark emotional hopeful sad medium-paced

It was a dual point of view book with the main character with, let's say, a pretty dark moment in their past. When I first started reading this I must say that I didn't like that all Miles's chapters were from the past, but as the book progressed, I must admit that it made sense, because the author was slowly revealing his past to build the tension and keep us readers hooked. But the formatting in these parts was all over the place. Even after I finished the book I don't know why the author made that choice. Also the repeating of the same words over and over in his chapters was probably for emphasis of his emotions, but why this annoying aproach? Otherwise, Tate's chapers were well written and normally formatted. The story was intense and emotional, heartwarming but also very heartbreaking.
