I liked this book…though be warned, it’s like 50 shades of grey without the S&M. But troubled main character. Who is written very sexy. And lots and lots of sex scenes.

It was a dual point of view book with the main character with, let's say, a pretty dark moment in their past. When I first started reading this I must say that I didn't like that all Miles's chapters were from the past, but as the book progressed, I must admit that it made sense, because the author was slowly revealing his past to build the tension and keep us readers hooked. But the formatting in these parts was all over the place. Even after I finished the book I don't know why the author made that choice. Also the repeating of the same words over and over in his chapters was probably for emphasis of his emotions, but why this annoying aproach? Otherwise, Tate's chapers were well written and normally formatted. The story was intense and emotional, heartwarming but also very heartbreaking.

I enjoyed this novel, but couldn't bring myself to love it. Mostly because I couldn't get past the way that Miles treated Tate - because it was horrible, despite the fact that she let him or whatever other excuses people would make for his behaviour. Yes, my heart broke for him, for both of them, and I can understand (to an extent) the reasons behind his behaviour, I still couldn't accept it, or forgive him for it.
All in all, though. I did enjoy this book - I just wasn't able to love it as much as so many people have. Good, but not great.

And I don't think Tate should have so easily, either. I mean, really. Make him work for you, you idiot!!! Actually, the whole ending kind of ruined the book for me. After all their spark and passion, it was just so, so... fluffy.All in all, though. I did enjoy this book - I just wasn't able to love it as much as so many people have. Good, but not great.

Bem, um pouco decepcionada .
O livro foi um massacrante para mim, principalmente para entrar na história.
Havia coisas nele que eu não conseguia perceber, como o facto de que a Tate so faltava ajoelhar-se com a humilhação que passou a correr atras do Miles porque ele so queria sexo, e a mulher insistente nao conseguia perceber isso ne, irritou me que esse lado da história foi sempre ela a correr a 7 pés atrás dele e ele a mandar para trás , tanto que mesmo eles fazendo sexo e ele gemendo o nome da ex ela nao percebia isso tipo wtf
