This book doesn't leave clues. Starts as a story about crazy wife, goes into a story of divorce, develops to abusive marriage and ends without anyone dead, meh. And it's quite difficult even to expect something as writer just doesn't leave enough clues for mind to work on the story. No way you can untie any knots here - just read and let the drama dissolve.

All in all - half of the book is engaging, other half leaves you with a soap opera feeling, as there are just too many twists.

Good read, although I really expected a little more suspense after reading the story description on the back.

There were multiple plot twists yet somehow the story was still dragging at certain points.

So so so so good. Didn’t want to put down. Constant surprises. Loved it.

3.5 stars overall. It was hard to decide on a rating. I liked the book well enough. One of the twists I didn’t see coming. Another I did. The rest felt contrived. But I did like it. It was well written. I would recommend.

I thought this was a good thinker. I enjoyed the plot, there was a decent amount of plot twists. It got a little confusing at the end though.
Overall, good book. Would recommend reading it!

Love the narrator to the audiobook. The story was enjoyable enough but dragged towards the end. The connection of past to present issues was loose. Was hoping for a more satisfying ending.

I have to give this book credit where credit is due.

The blurb is right. Just when you think you know what’s going on, just when you think you’ve got everything figured out, the tables are turned over and over and over again.

This definitely kept me on my toes, and I never saw any of it coming. Impressive in its execution for sure!
